I'd characterize October as hitting our stride. Chase was putting on weight and getting more alert (and fun!) each day. I truly think babies should have the ability to smile from birth. It's like a drug, I would do a hand stand while whistling Dixie if it brought on a smile. In addition to dishing out true grins, Chase was also focusing on objects and people. He loves looking at faces, playing on his play mat, looking at mobiles, but much to my dismay still hates his car seat.
Milestones:
- Chase becomes a narcissist, taking notice of mirrors.
- He also becomes a TV junkie, turning his head to watch the tube.
- He's getting stronger each day, standing tall when held upright, lifting his neck during tummy time.
- We transitioned him from our room to laying flat in his crib. This move was prompted early by two factors. 1) He grunts like a pig 2) I fear he'll get a flat head from sleeping in an inclined hammock
- He welcomed trick or treaters dressed up as a moo cow during his first Halloween.
One of his favorite hobbies is laying in the big bed on weekend mornings
Almost as big as my caterpillar
Moms gotta get stuff done!
Sickly in tune on how to work the IPad
