In preparation for our next major holiday, I thought I'd revisit Chase's first holiday - Halloween! So it's not Christmas or Easter, but babies are certainly adorable in costume.
Of course the first step is picking out a pumpkin. Chase wanted no part of this little adventure. He and I both ended up in tears. I believe my words to him were, 'come on, I need this'. In hind sight its hysterical and I love the wailing pumpkin pictures just as much as if he were all grins.
In preparation for the holiday, he sported the above pumpkin hat almost every day of October. I'm not going to lie, he would still be wearing it in December if his head didn't grow out of it. You'll notice its more perched on his cranium than snug over his ears. Here's another one of his holiday prep outfits. It looked equally as good on him as his teddy bear.
Finally the big night arrived. He spent Halloween evening snuggled on his Auntie Jessica's shoulder greeting trick or treaters. Looking back on the photos makes me realize we put him in a gender inappropriate costume. This is clearly a heifer and not a bull. Oh well, he was no worse off.
Up next - Thanksgiving in Texas!
